Energy and Climate Change

Around the world we are reducing our energy use and greenhouse gas emissions to protect future generations from the impact of climate change.

While our internal operations have a modest carbon footprint, we are taking important steps to evolve our workspaces to reduce climate change impacts. In our hometown of New York City, our corporate offices were consolidated according to the LEED® green building certification program. The offices are LEED certified to the Platinum level, the highest level possible, recognizing our efforts to reduce energy use and other environmental impacts.
In our manufacturing and distribution facilities, we are implementing a variety of energy saving programs, including the use of solar arrays. We have also been a responding company to the CDP Climate Change Program since 2006, and are working to continuously reduce our carbon footprint. Since setting and exceeding our U.S. emissions reduction goal from 2006 to 2011, we are now focusing our efforts globally with an emphasis on Tiffany & Co. retail locations.
