I often get asked this question when I create a fragrance: who is the woman I imagine wearing it? I really try to translate what I conceive from the brand so that the woman who would then smell the scent will recognize what she likes in that universe. I consider myself someone who has the alphabet of smell so I can translate the universe into a perfume. If I had a precise vision of a woman wearing the Tiffany Eau de Parfum, it would be the movie character Holly Golightly. That’s a really beautiful and iconic image of Tiffany. Her elegance is so timeless and when I see Tiffany I imagine that very graceful woman.
It’s also about the jewelry, and the joy of giving and of receiving. That’s something very magical for me. I am personally a jewel lover. I am obsessed with jewelry, so to make a fragrance for such an iconic house of jewelry is something that is very personal. I just adore colorful stones and diamonds. It’s something so precious that’s passed from one generation to the next. There is a lot of joy in jewelry, something that stays and stays forever. This fragrance is for all the women who love jewelry.
