Celebrating 25 Years of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation
The Tiffany & Co. Foundation also contributed to the protection of the Arctic Circle, an area vital for global climate regulation, and the Coral Reefs of the High Seas Coalition, the first-of-its-kind group aimed to create the world’s first marine protected area on the high seas.
Across the Pacific and Indian Oceans, The Foundation supported innovative coral reef research in the Coral Triangle, including Raja Ampat, a region with the highest concentration of marine biodiversity on Earth, home to 75% of coral reef species. The Foundation supported the creation of two new protected areas in Pemba Island, Tanzania, a critical biodiversity hotspot for vital coral reefs, seagrasses and mangroves, and the habitat of threatened sharks and rays.
