ELSA PERETTI® STYLED BY KATE YOUNG
Masters of style interpret Tiffany collections through their unique points of view. Here, stylist Kate Young highlights the natural sensibility of Elsa Peretti with help from food artist Laila Gohar.
“I think modernity is about individuality,” says New York-based stylist-to-the-stars, Kate Young. “It’s modern to know yourself, know your body and to wear what makes you feel good.”
Known for dressing It girls and celebrities alike, Young’s decision to style the jewelry of iconic designer Elsa Peretti was a natural choice. Much like Elsa, Young is famous for making women feel like themselves—a talent that shines through in each look from her shoot with food artist Laila Gohar. “What I like most about Elsa’s work is the way it references nature while still feeling luxurious, glamorous and refined,” says Young. After months quarantining upstate and reconnecting with the natural world, Young creates the perfect recipe for style, through sustenance and some of Elsa’s most iconic pieces.
A Peretti classic, these traditional red lacquer over Japanese hardwood pieces echo nature’s most vibrant colors. “I love them most with black, white and khaki,” says Young. “They’re incredibly elegant with simple, minimal day looks.”
“It needs space to really shine,” says Young of this incredible Elsa Peretti® Mesh necklace. Distinctively sculptural, “the emerald drop is best worn with an open neckline, like a jacket or a strapless dress,” she adds.

“I like when big pieces can be worn with ease,” says Young. For statement jewelry that dresses up as well as it dresses down, the stylist suggests an Elsa Peretti® Bone cuff. “They’re my favorite when worn in a mismatched pair,” says the stylist. “I love them with a t-shirt or an evening gown.”
“Wear them every day, all the time,” says Young of Elsa Peretti® Color by the Yard designs. “Pair them with an open collar or v-neckline,” she adds, “so you can see the skin through the stones.”
Elsa Peretti® designs are inspired by organic shapes and forms.
