Métiers d’Excellence: Exceptional Craftsmanship for Generations
In September 2022, Tiffany & Co. became the first LVMH Maison to bring Métiers d’Excellence to the U.S., welcoming the first cohort of eight apprentices to New York City. Launched in 2014, LVMH’s Métiers d’Excellence institute was created to continue LVMH’s legacy of savoir faire for posterity through apprenticeship programs, mentoring, school visits and tours.
The Métiers d’Excellence Apprenticeship program is one of Tiffany Atrium’s premier programs under its Education pillar, which works to continuously provide opportunities that supports long-term growth and the development of students and institutions while inspiring the next generation of talent. “The Métier d’Excellence apprentices join us from a broad range of industries and experiences, and their perspectives have helped Tiffany & Co. be more innovative and see our work in a new way,” said Mary Bellai Global Chief Human Resources Officer. “The program also works to build a strong pipeline of talent for bench jewelers.”
“Growing our diverse group of talent is foundational to our continued success; we are excited to be able to expand our reach into new markets to find and nurture talent while delivering on the goals outlined under our social impact platform, Tiffany Atrium.”
