Each trophy that the House creates represents our love of sporting excellence and craft. Tiffany has crafted the US Open tennis championship trophies— including the Men’s Singles and Doubles trophies, the Women’s Singles and Doubles trophies and Mixed Doubles awards—for nearly 40 years.
The Singles Championship Trophies
Standing at 18 inches in height and weighing nine pounds each, the US Open Men’s and Women’s Singles Championship Trophies are revered symbols of excellence in tennis. Master craftspeople at our Cumberland, Rhode Island workshop employ age-old techniques such as spinning, silversmithing, chasing, hand engraving and polishing to create each trophy over a span of approximately six months, totaling 66 hours of labor.
The Doubles Bowl
Handcrafted by Tiffany artisans for nearly 40 years, the US Open Doubles Championship Trophy is a sterling silver revere-style bowl measuring 13 inches in diameter and weighing four pounds. Meticulously crafted each year at Tiffany’s hollowware workshop, the trophy is brought to life over a span of 13 hours.
