Running Trophies Designed by Tiffany

Each year, the best runners and millions of spectators around the globe gather for the world’s most competitive marathons, from New York to Japan and beyond. Tiffany & Co. is proud to handcraft awards for incredible Elite Platinum Label race events like the TCS New York City Marathon, the ATHLOS Champion Crown and the Shanghai Marathon.

The TCS New York City Marathon

For over 40 years, Tiffany & Co. has handcrafted the Samuel Rudin Trophy, awarded to the winners of the race’s women’s, men’s and wheelchair divisions. Each 12-inch sterling silver tray—crafted over a span of three months—features an enameled etching of the marathon route and the winner’s name. In addition, Tiffany & Co. proudly crafts the medallions awarded to the first, second and third-place participants.

The ATHLOS Champion Crown

Awarded annually to the winners of the six track and field races of the ATHLOS Invitational Event in New York City, the ATHLOS Champion Crown is a work of exceptional craftsmanship. Tiffany first designed the trophy for the event in 2024, and its artisans created it over a span of 10 weeks totaling 25 hours of labor. The sterling silver crown is approximately 4.25 inches high, 7 inches in diameter and weighs 1.5 pounds.

The Shanghai Marathon

Tiffany & Co. is proud to handcraft the awards for the most sought-after road race in China: the Shanghai Marathon. The first, second and third-place trophies are handcrafted in 18k gold, sterling silver and bronze over the course of nearly four months at the Tiffany hollowware workshop. The sterling silver and 24k vermeil trophy is approximately 18 inches high, five inches wide and five inches long and weighs three pounds. The House also handcrafts the gold, silver and bronze medallions awarded to the race’s top three male and female runners.
